SecureElementSession Class

Represents a Secure Element sessions that is used to create channels and transmit commands to the Secure Element on the phone.

The SecureElementSession type exposes the following members.


  Name Description
AnswerToReset Gets the Answer to Reset (ATR) response of the Secure Element.
Reader Gets the SecureElementReader object for the session.

Dispose Releases all resources used by the current instance of SecureElementSession.
Equals(Object) Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Finalize Frees resources used by the SecureElementSession object. (Overrides Object..::.Finalize()()().)
GetHashCode Serves as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.)
GetType Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)
MemberwiseClone Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
OpenChannel Opens a logical channel with the Secure Element, using a specific applet on the Secure Element.
ToString Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.)




If you use this API in your app, you must specify the following capabilities in the app manifest. Otherwise, your app might not work correctly or it might exit unexpectedly.
